How to know what to post!?


Having a plan will help you create a framework to go off of.


A foundational way to talk about and show aspects of your life and business is by choosing caption categories. Think of your categories as topics that you will share that represent your brand and business on social.


Your categories are the framework that determine if you will talk about a topic or not.

I get asked a lot on how you know if you should post or not to post. If it fits into one of your Content categories, then it is game! I suggest thinking of 9-12 categories that represent you and your business.




Go over your why and who your ideal audience is before choosing your list of categories. These are very important to your brand, as these themes will be present all throughout your posts. These categories will help you come up with topics and ideas for your posts. The categories also allow you to be cohesive over time.

  • Team players

  • Behind the scenes

  • Current reads

  • Tips and insights

  • Fun facts

  • Throwbacks of projects

  • Products you love and use
