So, we are coming to the end of 2022. It has been a wild year. What would you say are your key takeaways?
It might be difficult to reflect during this season. You have a lot going on: meals to cook, gifts to wrap, people to see, a thousand events. But, it’s important to take a few moments to celebrate your small victories over the past year.
This year has gone by in a flash, every year seems to go by faster than the last one, I– the older I get the faster it goes. I’ve been trying to practice being in the moment more and enjoy life as it presents its self this year. I’ve been reminding myself that we don’t know what’s around the corner for us so let’s make the most of everyday.
At the very end of the year or early in January I sit down and do more of a review of the year and think about what I’d like to do in 2023, but for now I’m winding down from work and winding up to enjoy the festive season with friends and family.
I like to create vision boards to help me remember my goals. It is fun to look back on them and celebrate what I have accomplished. A vision board helps to turn a wish into reality, they work on many levels as well.
o The act of making a vision board helps to identify and clarify goals, dreams, and intentions.
o They help you to focus on values, gratitude, and lifestyle choices, becoming an effective tool for authentic alignment and change.
o Vision boards act as visual affirmations, keeping dreams and goals active and believable in our head and the world.
o They act as a map toward our dreams and goals, helping us to focus, plan, and do the tasks necessary on the way to achieving them.
Vision boards allow us to step into our power in a unique way, acknowledging what we truly desire in our lives, saying out loud that we are ready to create or receive it, and then working together with the universe to bring it into our lives.
